THE IRMA

Named for Irma Louise Cody, youngest daughter of William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody and namesake of the legendary Irma Hotel in Cody, Wyoming.

Irma grew up between two worlds—the refinement expected of a young woman at the turn of the century and the raw, untamed reality of the American West. She played the violin, rode horses, traveled with her famous father, and came of age beneath the enormous shadow of one of the most recognizable men in America.

But The Irma isn’t about Buffalo Bill.

It’s about his daughter.

Built from a rich mix of textures and patterns that feel equally at home in a Victorian parlor or beneath a wide Wyoming sky, The Irma is a tribute to the women whose names too often became footnotes in the stories of famous men.

Grace and grit. Refinement and frontier.

Hand sewn in extremely limited numbers, every Irma is individually crafted by Rusted Hatter and carries the imperfections, character, and unmistakable hand of something made rather than manufactured.

The Irma — for the women who helped build the West, even when history forgot to write their names down.
